About our Ear Candles

  • What is the difference between Classic and Professional Ear Candles?
    There are two main types of Ear Candle available which are our Classic Ear Candle and the Professional Ear Candle. The main difference is that the Classic Candle is made of cotton (9-10 min burning time) and the Professional Candle is made of linen providing a much longer average burning time(14-16 min). Classic Ear Candles are slightly softer, due to the fact that in proportion there is more beeswax than cotton used when making the candles. This gives 100% burning and practically no ashes during the treatment. The Professional range is much harder and burns accordingly longer, but with these there is a burn product which can be cut by a therapist or just left when using ear protector discs.
  • Ear Candles with or without filters?
    WITH or WITHOUT built-in safety Filters? If you are a professional who practice Thermo-Auricular Therapy (Ear Candling / Ear Coning) you are possibly required under your insurance policy to use candles that are fitted with filters. Some professional and home users can and prefer to use candles without filters and for this reason we sell Ear Candles both with and without filters so the choice is down to you. Simply choose the pack that you require and then you have the option to select "with" or "without" filters (depending on the pack chosen) from a drop down list. (the default selection is always "with filters" but this can be easily changed) . PLEASE NOTE THAT FILTERS ARE BUILT-IN TO THE EAR CANDLE DURING MANUFACTURING AND ARE DIFFERENT TO THE EAR PROTECTOR DISCS WHICH ARE ROUND, SILVER OR GOLD COLOURED AND DESIGNED TO COVER THE EAR AND PROTECT IT FROM ANY FALLING ASH.
  • What are Herbacone/Biocandle ear candles made from?
    All of our Ear Candles are made with natural unbleached purified beeswax, honey, cotton and a mixture of herbal essential oils. The Herbacone range contains a blend of Basil, Birch, Fir, Lavender, Pine, Sage and Thyme creating an aroma-therapeutic effect and pleasant smell. The Biocandle scented range contains specific oils as shown in their own description. We also supply testers free with each pack of Ear Wax Candles (don't forget to choose the option when placing the order), which can be used before treatment for clients who are not sure if they may have an intolerance or allergy to any of the ingredients. All of our ear candles have a metal tube inserted at the bottom of the candle, which warms up during the treatment and aids the positive aroma-therapeutic effects on the ear with the essential oils and the treatment itself. Herbacone/Biocandle Hopi Ear Candles are hand crafted in the production facility and then carefully packed by hand to keep their carbon footprint as low as possible. They are made in Europe and made with 100% natural beeswax unlike some of the cheaper Ear Candles from China that are made in factories using paraffin and bleached wax. Our Ear wax candles also have a higher quantity of beeswax compared to many other brands on the market which sometimes substitute Beeswax for paraffin. This results in our Classic ear candles being softer which allows the candles without filters, to mold slightly into your ear making the treatment comfortable and it gives a better seal around the base of the candle, so the smoke doesn't escape. Beeswax also produces a better fragrance.

  • How to place a wholesale order?
    WHOLESALE For larger quantities of ear candles than shown on the website or for wholesale prices please contact us at enquiries@hopicandles4u.com. We will do our best to beat any genuine market price on a comparable product (proof of website etc may be required) and we can sell any amount required with about 1 weeks notice for exceptionally large quantities. If you are ready to place a wholesale order please call us on +44 (0) 1775 711095 or email sales@hopicandles4u.com with your order and we will process it and call you back to take payment.
  • How do I buy/redeem a gift certificate?
    To purchase a gift certificate for someone, please visit the accessories category and purchase the voucher of your choice. A personal code will be applied to the voucher which you or someone else can then use at the checkout on a future order.

If your country is not in the dropdown menu of available countries, unfortunately we cannot ship to your country at this time.

    During the checkout process you may choose any of our current payment options and continue to place your order. We offer payment via: Debit/Credit Card, PayPal & Bank Transfer Please note that we will not ship your order until we receive payment from you.

  • How much is my shipping?
    Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their prices.
  • I forgot my password.
    Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site. Under the login box you'll see a link that says "Forgot your password? Click here". That link will send an email to you with your password.
  • How do I return my product?

  • I received the wrong product.
    If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact customer service within 72 hours of receiving the product either by email by clicking here or by phone on +44 1775 711095.

  • When will my order ship?
    Please see each individual item page for more information on the availability of each item. Also, after placing your order, you may click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track the status of your order. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information (where applicable) within 24-48 hours of shipment. All orders usually ship within 24 hours excluding weekends and bank holidays.

  • Has my order shipped?
    Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to check your orders status.
  • How do I change quantities or cancel an item in my order?
    Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to view orders you have placed. Then click the "Change quantities / cancel orders" link to find and edit your order. Please note that once an order has begun processing or has shipped, the order is no longer editable.
  • How do I track my order?
    Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track your order.
  • My order never arrived.
    Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track your order status. Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already. If you order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. If your packages each show a status of "delivered", please contact customer service for assistance. If your order was sent via Royal Mail and was not received after 5 working days (in the UK) please contact us so that we can investigate further. For orders being sent outside of the UK please allow a little extra time before contacting us as international shipping can take a little longer to arrive.
  • An item is missing from my shipment.
    Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track your order status. Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already. If you order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. If your packages each show a status of "delivered" or "dispatched", please contact customer service via email or call +44 1775 711095 for assistance.
  • When will my backorder arrive?
    Backordered items are those which our suppliers are unable to predict when they will have more in stock, but as soon as they do, we will be able to ship the item to you.

  • Do I have to pay sales tax?
    The price you see is the price you pay. we are currently not registered for VAT so you do not need to pay it.
  • I have a question on my charges.

  • I need a copy of my receipt/invoice.

  • When will my credit appear on my account?
    Credits usually take 3-5 business days from the time we receive your item(s).
  • When will my credit card be charged?
    Your credit card will be charged as soon as you place your order. Your order will then usually ship within 24 hours.
